Important Deadlines for Student Accounts

Financial Aid and Disbursements

  • In order to receive or be eligible for any financial aid awards you must complete the FASFA application. 嫩草影院鈥檚 Financial Aid Checklist.
  • Fall 2024 awards will begin disbursement on (DATE TBA). Refund checks for excess aid will not be issued until after the financial aid disbursement. If you have questions regarding financial aid, please contact the financial aid office at 201-200-3173 or financialaid@njcu.edu.

Please be aware that disbursements will occur on a weekly basis beginning on TBA and continue to disburse throughout the semester.  Awards are not disbursed by alphabetical order or class rank, as 嫩草影院 receives your awards鈥 they will be processed.  

Emails

  • We understand that is a critical time for our students, with payment deadline and the beginning of the semester approaching.  The main source of communication with our office is through our email bursar@njcu.edu. For tuition waivers, such as Staff, Dependent, Unemployment, Graduate Assistantships etc. please email waivers@njcu.edu. 
  • It may take 24 to 48 business hours for our office to reply. Please be patient and bear with us, we experience a large volume of activity and our effort is to service each individual student with the best customer service possible.

Gothic Card Flex Dollars 

  • 嫩草影院 Gothic Flex Dollars is an option for students that have a pending credit on their account after all other charges have been covered in full by the student鈥檚 financial aid awards.
  • Gothic Card Flex Dollars can be used at the bookstore, gourmet dining, Dunkin donuts, food truck, grub hub and parking lot. 
  • Flex dollars can only be requested when a student has excess funds in their account. The Gothic Flex Dollars application is available in person at the Office of Student Accounts (Hepburn Hall Room 106).
  • The Fall 2024 deadline for the Gothic Card Flex application is TBA.

August 8, 2024Final day to withdraw from a course (s) for a 50% refund of tuition and fees with a 鈥淲鈥 grade.  Form must be submitted to the Registrar's Office.
August 20, 2024Final day to withdraw from a course (s) for a 鈥淲鈥 grade.
August 29, 2024End of Summer III:  Five-Week Session.
September 4, 2024Deadline for faculty to submit final grades.
