Who/What is Jacey?
嫩草影院鈥檚 Jacey chatbot is an AI virtual assistant that provides 24x7 text and voice conversations to answer commonly asked questions about 嫩草影院. Developed by the Department of Information Technology (IT), Jacey combines people power with artificial intelligence to simulate conversations and respond to inquiries, enhance engagement, and elevate the student experience. 嫩草影院鈥檚 Jacey chatbot can answer questions about admissions, financial aid, student financials, Blackboard, athletics, technical support, and so much more. To improve communications, Jacey delivers content in an easy-to-use interactive format provided in English and 99 other languages. The Jacey chatbot provides virtual service and support so students get the help they need anytime on any device.
To make Jacey smarter and enhance the chatbot鈥檚 capabilities, IT collaborated with various departments throughout the campus to validate content and contribute further knowledge. Jacey is learning all the time and will evolve with more and more interactions.
The goal of Jacey is to increase student engagement and help students navigate their educational journey. Jacey provides the University with the means to respond quickly to prospective and current students while reducing service loads and freeing critical staff resources to mentor students and help them achieve success.
