IMPORTANT NOTICE: 

Starting Monday, July 29, 2024, and running until August 1st, students in Proyecto Science will no longer have access for students to purchase lunch from the cafeteria in the Gilligan Student Union Building (GSUB). 

All students must pack or bring their own lunch for the remainder of the program.

Class Color Tee-Shirts

During Field Day on July 10th and STEAM Fair on July 30th, students are required to wear the color associated with their Proyecto Science Class Year.

  • PS2-Gray
  • PS3-White
  • PS4-Orange

STEAM FAIR, July 30th

Get ready for an awe-inspiring day of presentations, projects, and performances! Students will be engaging in demonstrating their classroom projects from the various courses they have taken this summer, as well as showcasing their ingenuity in their major PS Capstone projects!

Student artwork, podcast recordings and projects will be on display. Each PS year will be showcasing their work in designated sessions to their peers throughout the program in the Rossey, Science, and Visual Arts Buildings.

Awards will be issued to students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for their Capstone Course Projects. Awards will also be announced for students who submit work to the STEAM Fair from their classwork that falls into one of the below categories. All winners will be announced at the Closing Ceremony on August 1st:

  1. Best Scientific Method/Engineering Design
  2. Most Creative Approach in Solving the Problem
  3. Best Overall in Category
  4. Best Research & Documentation
  5. Best Real-World Application
  6. Best Artistic Integration in a STEAM Project
  7. Most Impactful Community-Oriented Project
  8. Most Environmentally-Conscious Project
  9. Best Mathematical Model or Application
  10. Best Interdisciplinary Approach
Cultural Dress

Cultural Class Party Potluck, July 31st

Proyecto Science will be throwing class parties for students on July 31st. Students will participate in a cultural class potluck for lunch while participating in festive activities, and fun games while reflecting back on lasting memories with new friends to close out an amazing year of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Arts learning at Proyecto Science!

Parents/Guardians that wish to prepare dishes that reflect their culture's cuisine are encouraged to send in a dish with their child for this fun event! 

Deadline to sign-up to bring in a dish of choice is July 29, 2024.
