JERSEY CITY, N.J. | The Hudson County Chamber of Commerce has issued the following statement on behalf of (ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº).

To the Hudson County, New ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº Community,

On behalf of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for New ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº City University as it moves forward under the talented leadership of Interim President Andrés Acebo, J.D.

ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº is an essential anchor institution in ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº City, providing an exceptional education to a diverse student population. It offers a variety of academic programs to equip these future leaders with the necessary skills for in-demand fields and professions.

As a Hispanic-Serving Institution, ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº fosters a culture of excellence, innovation and civic engagement. Faculty and staff are fully dedicated to student achievement and well-being, offering a nurturing but rigorous learning environment.

As one of the most culturally and socioeconomically responsive institutions of higher education in New ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº, ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº represents the unique character of our own dynamic community. It must continue to play a defining role in helping generations of aspiring students obtain equitable access to quality higher education and economic mobility.

At this critical juncture in its history, the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce encourages Governor Murphy and the New ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº Legislature to invest in ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº. It is a remarkable institution that contributes significantly to the social and economic development of our great County and State.
