JERSEY CITY, N.J. | (�۲�ӰԺ)’s Institute for Dispute Resolution (IDR) and its Connecting Bridges and Borders Program, will co-host day one of a special two-day conference entitled “Explore NJ: Endless Possibilities for Your Business” on Thursday, June 23. The event will be held at the �۲�ӰԺ School of Business, located at 200 Hudson Street in �۲�ӰԺ City, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The theme of �۲�ӰԺ’s opening day program is “Focus on New �۲�ӰԺ’s Financial & Supply Chain Industries.”

The two-day conference is a result of a partnership with The Commerce and Industry Association of New �۲�ӰԺ (), , the New �۲�ӰԺ Economic Development Authority (), and Rutgers Business School.

Following a networking breakfast, �۲�ӰԺ President Sue Henderson, Tim Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer of the NJEDA, and Wesley Mathews, President and CEO of ChooseNJ, and other special guests will offer remarks.

Professor — the founder and director of �۲�ӰԺ’s IDR said: “Explore NJ is an opportunity for New �۲�ӰԺ to showcase its business assets — including academic programs — which support our competitive advantage in our state. �۲�ӰԺ offers important and necessary degrees in industries our state utilizes to attract foreign business to New �۲�ӰԺ, including, but not limited to supply chain and logistics, and Fintech.”

“ExploreNJ is the outcome of a collaboration between CIANJ, ChooseNJ, Select USA under the US Department of Commerce and the Office of the Governor — together with the IDR’s well-established Connecting Bridges and Borders program.”

The program will include discussions on New �۲�ӰԺ’s Supply Chain & Logistics Industries — moderated by Erica Brieterman, the NJEDA’s Sector Lead for Transportation and Logistics — and New �۲�ӰԺ’s Financial Technical Services (FinTech), and will conclude with a networking lunch.

Weiss added “Since being established in 2015, the IDR and its Connecting Bridges and Borders Program have fostered trade for New �۲�ӰԺ as one of its missions. The program focuses on the important contributions �۲�ӰԺ makes to advance globalization from the academic perspective. This has been highlighted recently with the important work our sister institute, �۲�ӰԺ’s Guarini Institute for International Education and Economic Mobility, has produced with international partnerships.”

The Institute for Dispute Resolution at �۲�ӰԺ is a platform at the School of Business that promotes sustained economic and commercial success rooted in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), promoting collaboration through international mediation and negotiation techniques and practices.
