JERSEY CITY, N.J. | The New �۲�ӰԺ Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at (�۲�ӰԺ) will host “A Celebration of Female Resilience” event on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 12-2:30 p.m. In honor of Women’s History Month, the virtual celebration will highlight the fifth annual , which recognizes the support provided nationally by America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) to entrepreneurs and small business owners pursuing success. The free event will honor and celebrate women leaders for their meaningful contributions to professional and small business communities.

“This event will bring together a variety of women to discuss their achievements, the obstacles they’ve encountered, and the lessons they’ve learned throughout their personal and professional lives,” said , Regional Co-Director of the Small Business Development Center at �۲�ӰԺ. “We invite everyone who is interested in the small business community and in learning how women in Hudson County are paving the way for future generations to join us.”

Discussing the significance of this special event, , Regional Co-Director of NJSBDC at �۲�ӰԺ and Dean of Professional Education and Lifelong Learning (PELL) said, “by celebrating the resiliency of women in general, and women entrepreneurs specifically, this event by the NJSBDC at �۲�ӰԺ compliments New �۲�ӰԺ City University’s mission of educating minds, nourishing souls, and lifting communities.”

The event will be highlighted by a panel discussion on topics ranging from the meaning of female resilience to women leadership and empowerment during COVID-19.

The New �۲�ӰԺ Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at �۲�ӰԺ, as part of America’s SBDC network, aids small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in Hudson County, New �۲�ӰԺ. Hosted by �۲�ӰԺ and funded in part through a partnership with the , NJSBDC at �۲�ӰԺ provides a variety of educational and business resources, including periodic (virtual) workshops and confidential, one-on-one consulting and advisory services, offered as a no-cost service to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners with any aspect of small business management.
