The New �۲�ӰԺ City University (�۲�ӰԺ) School of Business began the fall semester on September 1, 2015 in a custom-designed facility located in the heart of New �۲�ӰԺ’s financial hub on the �۲�ӰԺ City waterfront.

The �۲�ӰԺ School of Business is situated in a 68,348-square-foot space at Harborside Plaza 2 directly on the �۲�ӰԺ City waterfront, adjacent to the Exchange Place PATH station. The location centralizes �۲�ӰԺ’s growing undergraduate and graduate business programs and provides students with convenient access to corporate employers both in �۲�ӰԺ City and New York City.



The architectural plans for the School of Business feature cutting-edge technology, a simulated trading floor, classrooms, faculty offices, and a conference space with stunning views of lower Manhattan.



In announcing the new facility, �۲�ӰԺ President Sue Henderson said, “The �۲�ӰԺ School of Business is now part of the business community in an exciting, world-class environment where students will study with top scholars and practitioners and learn to become future business leaders.” She continued, “The benefits of this new development are beyond measure for our students, faculty, and corporate partners. Business is our academic area with the largest number of majors. The new Harborside facility will ensure that we can physically meet enrollment demand.”



Dr. Bernard McSherry, interim dean of the �۲�ӰԺ School of Business commented, “This is a defining moment for the School of Business. Our presence in the midst of New �۲�ӰԺ’s financial capital and our proximity to Wall Street positions �۲�ӰԺ to attract top faculty and to give our students a competitive edge for global experiential learning.”



The �۲�ӰԺ School of Business, established in 2013, is comprised of four independent departments: Finance, Accounting, Management, and Marketing, in addition to the Peter G. Mangin Real Estate Institute, and the �۲�ӰԺ Small Business Development Center.
